New heads, intake and headers....

Ok I was just wondering what kind of times i can expect with my new goodies..previosly my best was only 15.2@90, this is with a 350 with stock cam, stock heads, lg4 305 exh manifolds and stock intake and carb...This week I am puttin new heads on it, the heads are 1.94s that have been ported and polished, the intake is a performer rpm intake and the headers are edelbrock 1 5/8 primary to 3"collector...I was thinking low 14s to maybe if im real lucky ill break a 13, any ideas on how much power im gaining and what my 1/4 will be? I was gonna go to the track this weekend but my cars not gonna be back together by then...
thanks....oh yea and its a 5spd with short throw shifter and 3.23 gears.........

im not the best at this so dont think too deeply on it.... Unless you change that cam, i dont see 13's.

Id say mid 14's. Just a guess though. Wait for other replies.

btw, whats the combustion chamber size on those new heads?

If the engine is apart, then slap a decent little cam in there too. A Comp XE262 would work nicely.

That exhaust is going to wake up your 350, no doubt about it! I see half a second right there.

I think it might hit the high 13s. It definitely will if you stab a cam in.

believe me if i had the extra money i would definately throw in a different cam...but im a broke 17 y/o kid going to high school and working part time at dominos making 5.40 an hour so the funds are sorta limited a little...if you wanna buy me that cam and send it this way i will gladly throw it in my car, im sick of not being able to take a lot of the stangs around here, with a cam i should def. be runnin with a lot of them

Believe it or not, we were all broke 17 year old kids at one time

And some of us don't have any more money now that we're 44, either

LOL, looking back at it , on how I just did things, unless you need the car right away or heck, don't tear into it yet, I'd wait even another 4 months for example to save upand get a cam, it's a perfect time to do it, will save a lot of hassle latdr, plus with those above mods, a new cam will work wonders.

I would wait and buy a cam too, i know a cam would help wonders but like mentioned before im broke, and one of my heads is cracked that is why im having to go ahead and get new heads etc...I wasnt planning on gettin new heads but when i was putting my headers on i pulled one of the exh manifold bolts out and antifreeze started pouring out...im about 99.8% sure that its a cracked head, the only other thing i can think of is when i put the manifolds back on after the rebuild that the bolt was to long and broke into a water jacket, but i highly doubt that....
