ok well it winter here in wisconsin, its about -5 out plus the windchill and the old camaro is sitting out. she wont start, i try hooking up the old school battery charger we have. no dice. sometimes it will charge up, sometimes it wont. when i get it started, ive got to be carefull, if i turn the car off and leave the light on or something for say 10 minutes, the battery will be dead. is it a battery problem? or alt... or both

im going to try and take them to autozone to test them. i think im going to buy an optima yellowtop. if the alt is bad, what kind should i get, im looking at one on ebay, 200amp. im planing on adding a stereo system later on and lights

sounds like the batt. to me. wont hold a charge....
