If your car has 2.73s, you'll absolutely have to get a carrier. No way to put stock 3-series gears on a 2-series carrier.
Don't forget, your rear is 26-spline; you'll either have to get a 26-spline carrier, or get 28-spline axles to use a 28-spline carrier.
All of this assuming you have a 10-bolt of course.

ok, in english?
how much more would I have to spend in parts to make it fit?
if I had 10 bolt....
how do I tell besides climbing under the car and going 1..2...3...4....

actually if it's the iroc in your sig you most likely have a 9 bolt, easy check is a rubber plug in the rear cover as well as the 9 bolts, and if it's a 9 bolt 4th gen gear sets won't work, but the entire rear isa direct bolt in, except for the back spacing differances on the wheels.
