Im just going to vent some fustration . Will i recieved my new scat crank today . But when i looked at the box i knew it wasn't going to be good. There was a hole and drag marks on the box. When i opened it up i found that the first two counterweights had what looks like pit marks , deep marks . It almost looks like it might have beed cracked . But is weird , doesn't look like it could have happened if it was dropped , but the box holes lined right up with the marks on the crank . Makes me wonder if the company knew about the marks or if ups really did f-it up . Anyways i filed a claim with ups . I don't really think it hurt the strength at all . But if they kick the claim i am haveing it checked by a machine shop for cracks and if they come back with a neg results . then im stoping payment .

 

Good idea to get it checked out, that sucks!
