ive got 2000.00 to spend on a car. I called around and found a 92 cadillac deville with 129k miles. It was baby blue <--eek. They wanted 4000.00 but i talked them down to 2700.00. Anyone know much about these cars. im 17 and i do not like to go slow. Is there anychance i can find anything else that would be faster for 2000.00. Reason why i say 2000 compared to the 2700 for the cadillac is that if i go for the cady im going to use the stock stereo. But if i go with anything else i will need a nice stereo. Plus tax title and registration is 700 or so.

Im just kinda looking to see what my options are. I will need to travel 30-60 miles a day. Im looking at a few schools and the farthest one is 60 miles. round trip. the others are like 10 miles or so away. So gas may be an issue. Any sugestions

 

btw that 60 mile a day trip will most likely be made at full throttle. Or at least most of the way plus i ocasionaly like to race smaller weaker cars. When i test drove the cadillac some stupid bastard in a ford escort raced me :lala:

If you're going to be driving 60 miles full throttle I'd advise that you buy a go-cart instead of an automobile.

 

i was hoping you all could recomend a model/yeard 3rd gen camaero or something. Of course that would be faster than the cadillac.
