Fuel supply?

I put my hand on the fuel supply line from the tank and noticed that is was pulsating. Is this normal or is my fuel pump on it's way out?

I believe it's normal..

As long as the car is on, fuel is moving through the supply line.. hence the pulsating.. might wanna confirm this tho..

my fuel psi seems to be ok, but i'm having lack of HP issues and trying to rule things out. So far everything checks out? Spark, fuel, air....... I never thought the pump would pulsate?

Attach a gauge. If the pulsations are more than 2 PSIG, you may have a problem.

Some pulsation is normal. The factory installed a pulsation damper on many EFI cars, but they tend to fail, so many cars and a lot of replacement pumps never got the dampers. It doesn't seem to cause any system problems.
