What would cause a decrease in idle rpms?
From when I got the car, whether it be a 85 degree day, or 10 degree winter day, on the first start of the day, it would idle at 1000, then when it warmed up it would idle at 750. Its stored now and I start it once a month. And when Ive been starting it this winter, I got the usual 1000 cold, 750 warm.
Now these past 2 months, I started it two times, both being 20-30 degree days, and it idles at 750 ice cold (First start), and 750 warmed up to operating temp. No SES light, and it idles just as good as it always did, just not as high when cold.
Anyone know whats up? Im positive its not my tac being inaccurate.
Thanks

Sounds like a sensor or something to that effect. Perhaps its getting innacurate water temp readings or something. This is mostly educated guessing, but I figured I'd toss something out to think about. But if you get no codes, and she runs fine, probably not a big problem... at least IMO.

As usual, the first advice I would offer is to clean up the TB and IAC air passages, then make sure the IAC is working, and minimum air and TPS are set corectly.

All that is good accept the TPS, never tested it.
