Will the 90-92 dash work with a carburetor??

I currently have an 84 Camaro that I converted to TPI, and I have the original dash in it with the cable-driven speedometer. I am ditching my TPI and going back to carb, so I will be ditching the 730 ECM. I have a dash from a 92 Camaro (electronic speedometer) that I want to put in my car. My question is, will I be able to use this dash without the 730 ECM. I have a speed sensor on the car, it's just not wired up. Also, should I use my old LG4 harness/computer when I switch it back to carb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I agree you shoul keep the TPI. Especially on a 305 but as for your dash working check with JET trans they could probably help with your problem
