i went to the car wash today and when i was leaving i was just idleing in drive and the car stalled it has never done that before. i just put in 8mm wires and accel super coil and accell cap and rotor.i also just took out my charcoal filter and put a cold air inducion in when i took the charcoal cannister out their was a hose sucking air inward so i pluged it could that be my problem?

 

did u wash it under the hood?? maybe you got something wet that you shouldnt have

 

Sounds like the engine possible took in a gulp of water... Were you able to restart the engine after it stalled? If not, i'd suspect something electric/electronic.

 

did u take off your air filter and DUMP water into the carb???

 

it could have got water in it threw my hood vents which i have cut open but i dought it in the summer i open the hood and sray the hole engine while i leave it running and it never stalled but who knows? o hyeah it doesnt have a carb its T.P.I. but i did spray under the car maybe something got wet under thair?

 

never ever spray your engine with high pressure water. Your just asking for problems. Water gets into every single electrical connector. Next time just use some rags and elbow grease to clean your engine

 

i dont spray with high presure just a light mist like the car wash spray without pushing the handle allways works for me.
