Questions on converting from TPI to carb...

Well, I am going back to a carb setup because of all the things holding me back with TPI (too small of injectors for my setup, the pain in the *** attempting to tune the chip, non-adjustable regulator on my Stealth Ram, and the list goes on). I don't have the money to upgrade all those things, and I will be much more content with a simple carb setup. So I figure I'll sell all my TPI stuff and use that money to buy my carb stuff. Here is what I've come up with to make the swap.
-Replace TPI intake with intake and carb
-Run carb throttle linkage
-Replace distributor and coil with an HEI distributor and coil
-I figure now is the time to add a 6AL box or something like it as well.
-Use an in-line fuel pressure regulator to drop the pressure for the carb.
-Install new air cleaner
Is there anything I am forgetting? Should I use the old LG4 ECM I have, or should I not even run a computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

sounds like you have it all pretty much covered, imo i'd suggest sayin screw the computer and just run a non cc carb and dist if you hook up the old ecm im pretty sure all functions will still work but your will most likely get codes, just take dash... im sure im overlooking something though... maybe someone else can be more helpful

Sounds like you have most of the basics covered. I'm starting the swap myself, and that is just about everything that needs to be done. I am NOT using a cc carb, just going old school!

I will be running a non cc carb and distributor. What will I lose by not running a computer at all? Just ECM codes, torque converter lockup, and emissions crap (which I don't have anyways). If that's the case, I won't even bother with the computer or LG4 harness. As I posted in an earlier thread, I'm still looking for a way to get a 90-92 dash to work. I take it I would have to run a computer for that to work, right? Thanks again.
