What cars had fuel tank baffles?
I have this problem of fuel starvation when I go around a long turn (like an on ramp). Once I get about halfway through the ramp, the motor starts cutting out. Pretty sure it's fuel starvation.
Which tanks could I install that have baffles to fix this?

As far as I know the only car that had a baffled tank was the 1LE. good luck finding a tank off of one of those. I think you can install a sump into your tank and that will help. And you could always install a fuel cell : ).

I was afraid of that, you'd think GM would solve the problem on later cars...sump is a good idea though, it should work with a mechanical fuel pump shouldn't it?

fuel starvation
I had that problem with my old 2nd gen Camaro when I was autocrossing it. Had a Carter on it at the time. It would starve in the tight turns and 180's. I switched to a Holley double pumper and the problem went away.

Does a 4th gen have baffles? would the tank fit a 3rd gen?
97-1le: interesting, I wonder if a swap from my quadrajet would solve it?

Fuel tanks
The 93-95 may have them, but I not sure. As for my 97, It does not. At least it didn't say anything on the specs when I ordered it.
Given this tremendous new braking ability, the Camaro's tank mounted fuel-injection pump could be starved fuel and the engine stalled under hard braking. The solution was to completely redesign the fuel tank, installing baffles and a new pick-up/sock design to keep the pick-up submerged even when the fuel level dropped below a quarter of a tank. This was important because in the Canadian Players Challenge series the cars were not allowed fuel stops. Fuel management became critical during the 45 minutes of all-out racing. And, of course, the rules required that race cars use the original fuel tank/pump/pick-up. Sometime after 1990, the updated fuel tank systems was integrated into every Camaro sold.
