2 weeks ago:new starter
1 week ago:ignition switch, VATS went bad so had to put in a resistor.

O'Reilly didnt have the right starter, so i had to put in a small one, about 1/2" of shims, and loosen it so it worked.

after FINALLY getting it running again, now i have a fuel problem. i hate my car!!!!!!

sorry, i had to vent.

 

well the first two just seem like regular maintenance, as for the tranny that hurts. how many miles are on the car and what kind is it?

 

Sounds kinda like my story... enxecpt mine was a motor, not a tranny

 

89 RS, L03, just hit 103,000 miles. was fine until about 6 months ago. tranny went out, bought a new tranny, went 3 months before going out. TWO FRIGGIN TRANNIES IN 3 MONTHS!!!! actually, 4 months because i had to save up the cash for a month(life would be easier without spending $5 a day on cigs) all of a sudden, after the new tranny, crap keeps breaking within a day of fixing it again!
