Car: 1990 rs, pride and joy

Engine: 305 tbi

Transmission: t-5

5th or engine

when i am in 5th gear i will hear a noise, very high pitched sounds like a squirrel, only when i push on the gas. Sounds like it is coming from the right side of the car? so any guesses?

you didn't give to much info on this..but ill take a shot in the dark could it possibly be an exhaust leak?

sorry... it will only do it when i am in 5th gear nothing else. I have 5 speed and i have no clue what the hell it could be. I will shift in to 5th and will i accelrate it will happen. I have pin pointed it to the right side of the car. So i think it is the tranny but not entirely sure.
