Can anyone tell me if it possible to get a stock 400sb to pass an emissions test in an 82 z-28?The only thing they do is check to see if the car still has a catylitic converter and the tailpipe test.The computer will be disconnected.If so is their anything that needs to be done besides a good tune-up?

 

I drove one in my 83 for years (hopefully will be again soon, since I no longer live in Southern California!), and it passed; so I guess it's possible. It depends on the state of tune of the engine and what other parts it's built out of.
