connecting rods

how much power can stock rods, the pink rods, the x rods, and the powder metal take. which ones are stronger?? i found some on ebay and just wanted to know. how can u tell that you are gettin a good set of rods from ebay?? anybody got any guidelines and if i posted the auction number, could you take a look for me and tell me what you think of the deal?? thanks

also, when u order pistons, do they come with the wrist pins or are they extra?

If you order pin-fitted pistons, they'll come with wrist pins.

Personally, (and it's just my opninion) I wouldn't bother with any of the factory rods unless you already have a set. "Pink" rods are not as strong ar the factory powdered metal (PM) rods, and are heavier. PM rods will allow a lot lighter rotating assembly, and are already matched better (for total mass) than any cast/forged factory rods or billet forged factory rods. If you purchase a set of PM rods, be careful about the application. The LT1/4 used the standard 5.70" rod length, while the L99 used 6" (actually, 5.97") PM rods.

so the pm rods are my best bet, im only running close to 350 horse with a 150 shot. also, i have a two piece main seal crank but have a one piece main block, is there an adapter kit for this?
