I did a swap from a 2.8 to a 3.4 in 86 camaro and it runs just fine but i have no temp gauge or altanator working right. First the Temp gauge doesnt work and I dont know where the sensor is or what the wire looks like. and as far as i can see there are no wires not hooked up. Also the 3.4 alternator has a different wiring than the 2.8 and so i found that the black wire connected the the alternator wire works but it wont stay on for long and my battery dies. so while the car is on I have to unplug the wire and plug it in untill i hear the engine drop or watch the Volt meter. Have no clue how its suppose to work. anyone know what its suppose to do????
