Truck 350 installed in friends vehicle

My friend is installing a truck 350 with tbi and wiring harness and computer in his car and we are just wondering what is the bare minimum as far as sensors to make the thing run. Can anyone help?

Pretty much all of them.

Map, CTS, knock, O2, TPS, IAT, etc. Not too many you can leave off, and expect the ECM to still be able to tell what's going on in the world around it, well enough to meter fuel and set the ignition timing correctly.

The reason I ask is there are some we want to eliminate. We are getting rid of the a/c and smog stuff. I am aware of the IAT, ESC, Knock, O2, & Map. Don't know what CTS is. Thanks for the info.

CTS = Coolant Temp Sensor

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor

Thanks again. I think we have all we need but now we are worried about the fuel. I told him he will have to do something about his fuel pump because he has a regular pickup in his tank and he had planned on running a manual fuel pump.

You can get away with a rotarty aftermarket pump Ive seen TBI trucks running just rotary pumps when the intank one dumped lazy SOB's.
The best thing to do would be to get a fuel tank from a latter modle 3rdgen with a tank//pump.
