rotor removal???

i did my cap rotor and wires yesterday and i had a hell of a time getting my rotor off i had to use a brake drum adjusting tool to get it off...... this after i broke the top of the rotor off prying with a screwdriver......anyone else had this problem? should it have been that hard to do? when i put the new one on i put some grease on it.......... keep in mind i have owned this car for 41/2 years and this was the first time ive changed these things

I've broken a few taking them off. They do get 'stuck' over time.

----> Camaro,

A little rust can do that easily. A little dielectric grease on the rotor stub shaft should solve that for next time. If you don't grease it, it's really no big deal. It just may have to be broken off again the next time you replace it.
