Sounds like the starters spinning but not engaged, any suggestions?

 

Replace the starter, it's bad

 

when u drop the starter down while replacing it take a look at the flywheel and make sure it dosent have missing teeth and also make sure it doesnt have a crack around the crankshaft bolts ..... i always check these things while replacing starters just to be sure in not getting rid of a good starter believe it it can happen ive seen it......................................... lol but usually it is "just the starter" just my .2 cents
