Roller rockers?
Roller rockers?
I was looking at some roller rockers in a magazine today. I have an 88 GTA with the 350 TPI motor. I don't want to turn it into a race car, but a little more power wouldn't hurt! I don't want to run a bigger cam shaft either. Too shaky for me. Would roller rockers add a little power in my car? Thanks for any info! Matt

With 1.6 ratio roller rockers you will gain maybe 10hp, you will not even notice the difference.
Refueler,
Changing ratio will increase the net lift by about 6%, and increase effective duration @ 0.075" valve lifts by about 1.5-2%.
What may be more important is the reduction in friction from the roller tips and fulrums of a fully rollerized rocker. That's gotta be worth a few ponies alone. the extra flow from the lift/duration increase is just icing (and not on the wings).
