480 HP Minirammed 385 nears completion!
I've been busy working on the ol' website and thought you guys might want to see what's up in the garage.
It looks like I'm getting a lot closer to making the Minirammed 385 a reality! I just redid the serpentine accessories, and with the purchase of a waterpump and new distributor, I think I'll have all the components for a running EFI'ed, 480 horsepower tire-shredder.
Here's the link that shows the most recent progress. Air Flow Research has picked up the tab for my flow testing, and hopefully I will have the heads done & installed by the end of the month.
I got something in the works for April that *may* involve a new ECM with wide-band tuning capability, and dyno testing at a Comp Cams facility, but it's going to take a lot of selling on my part. Wish me luck! I want to show this thing at the CamaroZ28.com national event in late July.
Lastly, I hope to begin an in-depth installation of an 8-point roll cage including new five-point racing harnesses, as well. It'll all be documented on the now (rather large) http://www.ws6transam.org
Here's the Minirammed 385 sub-page:

I hope you like it, and that it helps you with some ideas of your own.

Looks good.
You may have a problem with the 30lb injectors though. I had to step up to 36lb'ers and Lethalracer had to also. I think the duty cycle with the 30's was 76% with the LT1 intake. Duty cycle is now at 64% with the 36's. A friend with a miniram 355 was maxing out 24lb injectors at 101% and had to go to the 30's and now he is still at 74% duty cycle.
You may want to check that on the dyno or wideband.
