Are these injectors worth rebuilding?

They're the stock injectors that came with an '88 Camaro SC (2.8L V6 MPFI) with ~130K miles.

Basically, I'm trying to smooth out my idle quality (it's pretty rough at a ~775 RPM idle), and I know the injectors can stand to be cleaned. Also, only 4 of the injectors are original; 2 of them are new Bosch injectors that I got a little over a year ago.

I would just send them to Cruzin' Performance, except that I remember the last time I tried to do that with the injectors out of my '89 IROC, I was told that they weren't worth rebuilding (b/c they were Multitecs in that year). I have no idea what GM was using in '88 on their V6 cars, so I just thought I'd check here to see if they're worth rebuilding or not.

Thanks

Sancho,

IIRC, the Multecs didn't arrive until 1989. Your '88 may still have Bosch injectors. If the injectors are rounded at the upper and lower ends, they are probably Multecs. If they are stepped or squared at the ends, they are probably Bosch or Rochester, and worth sending in.
