heads for an lo3 305

world s/r tourqer 305 cast iron
58cc
1.94 in. 1.50 ex. 1.250 in. springs $370.00 each

edelbrock e-tec 170 aluminum
64cc
1.94 in. 1.55 ex. 1.46 in. springs $520.00 each
(requires milling to achieve 58cc,vortec intake-scrapping the edelbrock tbi i have now)

think the weight savings on the aluminum is worth the cons? my guess is they probably flow close?

The E-tec's will outflow the S/R's by a lot. If it were up to me and I had the money, I'd get the E-tecs. They are a superior head over the S/R's. The weight savings will be nice, but I wouldn't let that dictate whether or not you go with the E-tec's.

Even though Edelbrock Performer line of heads suck, the E-Tec line seems to have not fallen in their lame shadow. I say go E-Tec.
