Oil pressure problem?

Hey sup all, just finished my new 355 TPI.

I own a 88 IROC which had the 305 L03 TBI in it. I swapped it for a 88 L98. All of my guages are working exept my Oil Pressure guage.

I know that the wiring and guage are alright cause I grounded and fed with 12V the connector and the needle moved from the top to the bottom.

So here's the question... Can I reuse my LO3 pressure sender (It's the 3 wire model, located over the oil filter) on the L98? If not should I order a new one which is made for the L98?

Thanks for any tips!!

I believe you need both..... the one you have (the 3-wire switch) for the fuel pump, and the variable resistor type for the gauge.

If you put the one you have back where it came from, the gauge one will go inthe top of the block, right behind the distributor. You'll need a brass "L" adapter about 2" tall with the "L" pointing to the side, which you can make with brass from the hardware store if you don't already have one.

I know it may sounds weird but I don't think I need the one (shaped like a bell) cause the one that as 3 wires (supposely made for the fuel pump back up) controls my gauge too... That's why I'm confuse cause I can't find a good wiring diagram bout it.
Any other suggestions?
