Moderators and Administrators please Let this go

I was just going through the topics thinking about how much we all love cars and all the blood sweat and tears put into them. Well without this country and government we wouldnt have the chance to do any of that, i know a lot of you have a lot of different opinions on the war and such but i look around everyday and see what i have and what is around me and feel a strong sense of duty toward my country and all of the people in it. Some people are against the war, i am against my brothers dying over there but at the same time People in the Military (such as myself once i am commisioned upon graduation) devote their lives to defending us and our way of living, they know that if they give their life... it saves a couple thousand peoples lives. i just wanted to show a little gratitude toward my country and servicemen.

Some people dont like that war but i think its the only thing that will work, but i would be over there in a second fighting if i was already commisioned.... i couldnt imagine living in a world without my firebird heh... america is where its at and lets keep it that way.

 

Yes everyone certainly does have their own opinions, but war is not declared based on popular vote. I will be joining the 207th AFROTC det. this fall at Saint Louis University. No one wants to go to war, but I trust that the people in charge of making the descision know what they are doing and have thought through every available option other than use of force.

But this is an INTERNATIONAL board, not merely American. Thus I think it would be wise for everyone to avoid discussing divisive political issues like this on what is a technical forum dedicated to third gen F bodies.

I don't like Saddam at all, but lets just stick to our Camaros and Firebirds.

Yes, sitting bull i did not even think of that. Very valid point. My mistake. Canada US and our distant cousin Mexico... we're all one big family wouldnt you say hehe

Sorry, but rules exist. It's not my call. Most of you can probably already guess my position on the whole situation, anyway. Not too many people would question my support for our representatives in the miltary services.
