350 Engine Specs

I'm fixing to buy a remanufactured 350 engine from Advance Auto Parts...And I was wondering what year 350 chevy engine was the best to have? I want to get a good year 350,,,,like what were the specs for 350's from 75 to 86?

Does anybody know these specs?

Thanks

They should all be pretty much the same, nothing better, nothing worse.

remanufactured
factory
Not the same thing...

Rebuilt ones from places like that are not specific to a particular year or model vehicle, like original ones were. They take all the blocks, and put them in a pile; and all the cranks, and put them in a pile; and all the rods, and all the heads, and all the valves, etc. etc. etc.; then send each pile through their respective cleaning, boring, grinding, painting, etc. operations; then take a block from the pile, a crank, some rods, some valves, a couple of heads (sometimes they even get the same casting #), etc. and put them together.

Typical 350s from the factory in those years were around 170-180 HP. They're the ones I avoid duplicating, or re-using the heads most especially. That junk is precisely what you're most likely to get.
