oil pressure drop

I have a 88 TA, 355, lightly built, with an ATI Procharger @ 6 psi. I've started to notice a decrease in oil pressure as of late. The first significant drop seemed to coincide with a trip to the strip. I've changed oil, the idle pressure is fine, but WOT pressure doesn't go above about 45, and looks like it's trying to drop (or at least not climb) during acceleration. Could the added load from the blower be causing excessive clearance. Car runs and sounds fine. Haven't checked the sender yet. Scared to get on it too hard at the moment. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

replace the sender, or screw a mechanical gauge into it and see what you really have.
