do 305 heads have potential?
I've got 3 sets of 305 heads laying around (freebies, heads I've replaced) and I was wondering if they could be made into something decent. They've got small chambers, so I was thinking that if they could be machined to take some 1.94's they might be decent. Has anyone done this? If so, how were they? Thanks

Search for posts from Sitting Bull on 305 or 416 heads. He's made them work nicely on a 305. As for bolting them to a 4" bore engine, that may be a different story entirely. If you're gonna trash them, let me know first.

LO3 heads are not good for porting. Get 081, 416 or 601 castings.
