Hey, quick question.

I installed the 2nd fan switch in 2 weeks today. The first one broke, dunno why, but it did. The question is this... the one i put in today appears to be in perfect health, but ever since i fired up the car for the first time with this switch, the fan is always running. Even if you just turn on the ignition (not firing the engine though) the fan will run. Me and my cousin have both checked this out and have looked all the way down the wire and it isn't grounding anywere, which would cause it to turn the fan on.

Is this switch a dud?

 

Oh yea, BTW, no "check engine" light either.

 

yeah sounds like the relay is being grounded somehow.. swap the drivers side relay just to make sure it isnt the relay somehow.

 

i agree my relay did the same thing I got so tired of the stock system I bought an aftermarket system and had no problems since
