Blinker trouble
Ok, its not in a third gen, but at least a chevy. A friend of mine has a 80 something cavalear, the passanger side blinker works fine, but the driver side comes on and dosn't blink. He's tryed replacing the relay under the dash, but that didn't fix it. Any ideas? Car is completly stock.
did you check the blinker fluid?? j/k
I remember once on my moms old car the bulb was in backwards and that made the blinker stay on. It was a long time ago, but im just throwing out ideas.

check the bulbs and their contacts. I had a contact break in one of my front turn signals, and that kept the blinker from working, It was the ground, and so the marker light wouldn't come on either. Try switching on the 4-way hazzard lights, if one light doesn't flash, pop the bulbs out and take a look
Remember, this is supposed to be a ThirdGen only tech board. If you have such a question, it probably would be best not to mention that it is not a ThirdGen. Consider yourself notified, in case you forgot.
Electricity doesn't care what vehicle it's on, anyway. Poor grounds can create all kinds of odd problems. If you have voltage at the socket, there isn't much left but a poor ground.
