hey everyone, i am having problems with my windshiled wiper motor. before today my windshield wipers worked fine except for no water would spray out. today i went to the junkyard to get another motor. i took off the original one and put in the one i got from the junkyard and it didn't work. so i figured that it was just broke and i put the original one back in and it didn't work!!! the wiper blades would not turn. does anyone know whats wrong? any help would be appreciated, thanks!

 

did you check the fuse???

 

yeah i checked it and its fine. still dont know whats wrong

 

Try running a ground wire from the motor frame to the car chassis. Your old motor might not have been bad either, might just have needed the same thing (very common).

 

Use a test light and see if two of the wires running to the motor have power when the car is on and the wipers are on.
