Exhaust leak in the engine bay

Hey guys. My car recently got VERY loud, and has lost some of it's pick up. Sometimes as I press on the gas, the car just gets louder, but doesn't move any further. Could this be an exhaust leak from my headers? I heard that they need to be re-tightened every 6 months or so. My headers were installed about a year ago, and it seems like this is the problem. When I first noticed it was a few weeks ago when it was still cold, and what looked like exhaust was coming from the passenger side of my hood

Also, are there any side effects from driving around like this? Sorry for the second post, and thanks in advance.

Sounds like you found the problem. Side effect of this Exhaust Leak is the CARBON MONOXIDE entering the interior of the your car. This is not a good condition.

Thanks man. Doesn't sound good. So I should just fix it as soon as possible? It sounds so nice though

May be the high from the Carbon Monxide, so keep the windows down. Good Luck and get it fixed ASAP.
