those with lt4 hot cam
how lummpy is it and what is your idel set to. on top of that what do you get for mpg
I guess no one knows. The LT4 "Hot" cam wasn't quite "hot" enough for me, so I went bigger. There's hardly any lope, and fuel mileage didn't change a bit from the regular cam I had in it. The cam I used is a Comp Comp 07-305-08 .510/.520 220°/230° 114° LSA. With 1.6 rockers it specs at .544/.555, 223°/234°, 114° LSA. This is on an LT1, but it's still a regular old 350 SBC. I think the slightly wider LSA helps me a lot for vacuum and mileage.
I have the LT4 hot cam on a 383 and at 800 RPMs I get a noticeable lope out of it.... it made my car a **** load louder too compared to the L98 cam. And I have to say, for 112 LSA, my car still has good vacuum.... I havent measured it with a gauge, but my brakes weren't effected at all.

Here is about a 700RPM idle:

The mics a POS, but you get the idea.... Mine seems to sound a bit more aggressive than most. This may be due to a bit higher compression than some have and the exhaust (headers, no cat, flowmaster muffler).....
