flywheel replaced, another problem (non thirdgen)
First of all, this isn't a thirdgen. It's an 84 buick skyhawk, front wheel drive, 2.2 liter i think. Anyways. The bolts came loose off the flywheel, and tore it up. But the car still ran w/ the broken flywheel. So I dropped the tranny, and replaced the flywheel. Now, it keeps on breaking rotors under the distributor cap, one wont last more than 4 or 5 seconds. What can be causing this? I've taken it to two shops, and both put in rebuilt distributors. They were both stumped as to what was wrong. One guy kept the car for a while, and try to figure it out, but never got around to it. Everyone's just confused. Anyways. Something's gotta be bent, but what? I'd junk the car, but it's only got 60k on it, and about 10k on a rebuilt tranny, and the car is in like new condition. Ran perfectly fine before this flywheel problem. I'm prepared to pull the motor if necessary, but what should I look for?
