Engine Oil Cooler

How high should this be on the "to do" list? What is the affect on a daily driven street car, with a somewhat mild motor. How would this affect the oil's life and the motor's life? How does the oil filter hook up with a kit like this?

I have searched and found that most people say "yeah they're good get one why not", but how necessary is it?

The sandwich adaptor is "sandwich'd" between the oil filter boss of the engine block and the filter. Your filter will now hang down lower (add the thickness of the adaptor).
