Installing Roller Rockers

I have a set of scorpion 1.6 roller rocker arms I am trying to install, however the rocker arm studs don't seem to be long enough.

When I place the rocker arm on the stud, over the pushrod and the valve tip the thread on the stud barely sticks out, not enough to attach the nut.

Is there something I am overlooking?

Are they all like that?
It's normal if the valve is supposed to be open, but that would only be on a couple of valves at any one time.

Pushrods may be too long for the rockers.

Turns out the shop I goto accidently gave me the wrong length studs. Standard rocker arms need 1.9" studs but roller rockers need 2.1 inch studs.

10% more cam lift and alot less friction.

Hot Rod swapped Comp Cam Magnum 1.5 Roller tip rockers onto a 350 a couple issues back and got 16hp, 24hp with 1.6s. I am switching over to a full roller rocker which has a roller trunion, instead of a pivot nut, as well as a roller tip. Only problem so far has been the need for taller rocker studs, potentially switching to a 1.6 could cause a piston to valve clearance issue but this is not usually the case.

To check piston to valve clearance just put some clay on top of the piston, put the head on without the gasket and then roll the engine over twice. Measure the indents in the clay then add the thickness of the gasket your gonna use and thats your clearance.

Also roller tip rocker arms will increase your fuel economy by as much as 5% according to GM research and also increases valve train service life.
