fuel filter by tank thread size?

Does anyone know the thread size of the hard fuel lines that connect to the fuel filter back by the tank? I'm sumping my tank and want to run braided line to the the hard line and connecting it there looks to be easiest / cleanest way.

If I remember correctly the inlet/outlet is a different size? I need to know the outlet.

Thanks,
Chris

I'm wondering about this too. I just looked at a filter in the store and I want to say they're Saginaw fittings because the part past the threads where the fitting would seat was flat, not tapered, so an o-ring would seat there possibly.
