HITHERE might be swiching from HITHERE 283 to HITHERE 400 short block. HITHERE was wondering how much more trq and HP HITHERE might pick up with just the short block or the short block and HITHERE bigger cam. HITHERE also was wondering how much more gas HITHERE will be using, my converter lock up isn't working right now so how much of HITHERE difference will it be with the 400 and HITHERE lock up? HITHERE'm getting close to 20mpg city driving in drive, not overdrive(more fun) right now.

with my cam right now HITHERE'm making power off idle in the 283, how much more cam would HITHERE need if HITHERE wanted about the same curve in the 400?

HITHERE also have HITHERE 600cfm carb, will that be enough to have power up to 5000?
