Tach bounce at cruising speeds

I know there is another tach bounce post right now, but mine seems to be a bit diffrent.
At idle my engine runs at a steady RPM(right around 1000 since I rebuilt my TB and adjusted the idle screw) but at cruising speeds 50+ mph my tach bounces. its usualy about 500(from around 2750-3250) rpm's that it bounces I can feel it from the engine too. it doesnt do this at lower speeds regularly yet, but every once in a wile the engine may surge when I am stopped, but thats a hear and there thing.
Im getting codes 22 32 34
22 and 34 are left from when I rebuilt my TB and have been fixed, I just havent reset the ecm. 32 is egr but Ive been getting that code since I got the car, and it is an off and on thing for it setting the ses light, and has no pattern with which to associate it with the tach bounce(tach bounce every day, ses from egr maybe today next time maybe a week from now)
so apparently what ever my prob happens to be is not setting a code, so I am at a total loss.
can any of you give me an idea of what the problem may be? or what I need to check and how to check it.

O'Yea thought Id let it be known from the start the car has NEW
Plugs(properly gapped)
wires
MSD cap and rotor
MSD coil

What about the coil wire?

I had an identical problem. My plug wires were brand new, so wasn't my coil wire, but the boot was slit and I never noticed it.

I wish it would be as simple as the coil wire, but the new wires have been on it since jan when I got the car and this problem just started a couple weeks ago

I had a very similar problem with mine, only while cruising, and right in that rpm range too. Started with just bouncing tach, then went to an actual noticeable miss accompaning it. My tach would bounce in neutral too (progressed to this, didn't to start with that), but was not accompanied by any actual miss that I could ever feel. Miss was only cruising.

I changed the cap, coil, and rotor along with new wires too and it still persisted. Changed out the HEI module thing under the cap (non-comp controlled) and and it still did it. Then just to eliminate the distributor completely I swapped another distributor I had in and the problem completely went away. Not being an expert on distribs I have no idea what the actual culprit was, but suspect the ignition pickup, as someone here recommended when I was posting about. That was my freakin MSD Pro-billet distrib too, right out of warranty... Luckily I already had a good spare distributor, someday I'll get around to spending some money on the MSD to get it back in, assuming that part is actually changeable...

thanx for the info Ray87Z. considering the car has almost 190,000 mies on it I guess needing a new distributor should not be totaly unexpected.
I figure if I need a new one might as well get some thing good. after looking at Summit and Jeg's it looks as thoe the MSD Pro-Billet distributor, MSD part #8366 woud be a direct fit. can any one verify that for me?

Also Ray87z since you have been there done that can you give me an idea of how much time I have to come up with the money for a new dis b4 my old one craps out completly? and if anyone else can give me an idea of what else could cause this problem please let me know, $290 is not easy for me to just come up with
