TBI or TPI
just a question but is my 92 firebird V6 a TBI or TPI

the 3.1 is neither. It is a MultiPort Fuel Injected car. Which rules TBI out. It has a similar setup to Tuned Port Injection but it isnt quiet the same. Its a suquential (sp?) fuel injected motor.
I hate the 3.1 engine with a passion. My moms was junk. Change the stat on it and it airlocked bad. 2 shops couldnt get the damn thing unairlocked. Then one day the car caught on fire...
