Ticking lifters even after adjusting?

Whats up everyone?
I have a problem with my lifters tapping. When the motor is cold the lifter tap very loud. When the motor warms up the tapping sound goes away. If you hold the throttle cracked open for a minute or so to 2000 rpm the tapping sound returns while your still on the gas. When I release the throttle, the tapping sound goes away after a while at idle. Ive adjusted the lifters over & over again( loosen the nut until it starts to tap, tighten until the noise goes away, go a quarter-half turn more for the proper preload. I have trick flow 23 degree heads on this 383. My oil pressure is staying at 35-40lbs hot & 60lbs when cold. I replaced the stock lifters in september of last year because of the tapping problem, but its still doing the same thing.Im out of ideas. Can anyone help me

Could be an exhaust leak. a minor leak can sound a lot like a ticking lifter.
