what a PITA - my 400 won't start after reinstalling heads

Man this sob has been a pain. No matter what I do it seems to take 5 times longer on this car. Now I can't get it going again.

I checked the distributor and made sure I had spark. I tried ether but maybe I did not give it enough of a shot.
I am going to make sure I got it in right.

I am going to lock the hood down if I get it going again.

Make sure the rocker arms aren't tightened down too much. That will cause a no start condition. I had that problem a couple of weeks ago when I changed the heads on my car.

P.S. Did you remember to plug the wires back into the distributor? Just a thought.

Pump the carb a few times and make sure you have fuel going down in to the monster. It is unusual, but a float in the carb could have jammed or something killing your fuel.

I checked those guys. But since there is nothing else it can be, I guess I get to check them about 2 or 3 other times until I find it.
