Which fuel line is which?

I pulled my engine a couple of months ago...now it's time to hook up the fuel lines...one problem...I don't remember which one's the pressure line and which one's the return line It's a 1987 Camaro TPI L98 auto.

p.s. can I just turn the key to accessories and see which line fuel shoots out of? seems like that would tell me...but would it?

Thanks.

Ryan

Hope this helps. As the hoses come along the inner fender, one is a little longer and extends a bit more towards the front of the car. This one goes into the lower fitting at the attachment point near the fuel rail. To help differentiate them, the other line, has a more radical bend in it after the rubber part.

actually, I'm switching intakes, so my fuel lines stop at the rubber hoses. I'm either going to cut them down by the trans and do braided steel hose up the back, or braided steel from where the rubber hose connected to the fuel rail. so, I don't have the hard line piece that connects the rubber lines to the fuel rail hard lines, so I can't tell which one has a more radical bend...I think I'll just turn the ignition and have someone grab the line that spurts fuel, then mark it with some tape...seems the easiest...

my fuel lines are the stock one's from my 2.8 so i don't know if they're different. normally the larger of the two is the pressure line.

Exactly, the bigger one is supply and the smaller one is return.

If you're hooking up the TPI there's no way to get them crossed, they have differant threads.
