Gap between Idler Arm and Center Link?

When you get under my V8 and look at the suspension, there is a small gap between the Idler Arm and the Center Link. Is this something to worry about? I took the car to NTB to take a look at it and they said that the center link, idler arm, and the pitman arm needed to be replaced. Does this have to be done? Is it possible to have the car aligned without this? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

(The car only has 45k miles on it...if that matters)

Pitman arm? Tell them to take a flyin leap. The pitman arm on 3rdgens is a non wearing part. How much of a gap? There is about 3/16" gap where there is supposed to be a felt washer, but sometimes these fall off and it appears that there is a gap that is not supposed to be there. Grab the idler arm and see if you can move it up and down. Do the same with the center link. You will be able to see+feel if there is any play in that direction, and if its tight they do not need to be replaced.
