k well heres the thing i got a motor sitting by my friends house can i spray engine cleaner all over it and wash it off with a hoes, is that ok since it out side and been out there a bit, oh it not in a car its on a crate?? it so nice out side i want to do something!lol.

 

soapy water...tide works well...then dry it in the sun .....

 

Is the block bare? Re-using it? if it's still dressed, cover your intake and exhaust ports, and anything that could get damaged.

 

wont hurt a thing.....just dont spray down the Carb TB or whatever..and stay off the disributor....now if its a LT1...dont do it! Unless you like changing optisparks...

I dont uses degreasers...just soapy water..
