Spare Tire

Alright guys were can I get a spare tire that won't rub against my rear brake calipers. I've been to three stores and I have specified 89 GTA WITH REAR DISK, and I now have three of the wrong spare tires. If anyone knows what I should be looking for I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know if this will help at all, but you may want to try the junkyard instead. It would probably be cheaper and you could just look for a car with rear discs.

Check E-bay, etc for an aluminum spare. As far as I know the aluminum ones came on all the 1LEs and even some convertibles (conv. is heavier than t-type or hardtop, so aluminum was used to even up the weights). How bad is the wheel rubbing the caliper? Would a GM 1/8" spacer solve the problem? Just throwing out a few ideas.
