I really do not understand this crap. I have 2 88 IROC 350 computers. the new one I got will not let the car start with the chip it came with. the only way my car will run is with the stock chip, but it works with either computer if it has the stock chip.

Does anybody think I was told the wrong thing and given a different computer from the wrong car? I think I got took for 65 bucks and I'm pissed about it.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot, the chip from the new computer will not let the car start, but does throw code 34(low volts at MAF), but the old chip in the same computer will not throw the code and lets the car start.

 

What is the 4-letter code on each of the two chips? Should be a sticker on the PROM itself, visible thru the hole on top of the blue plastic cover.
