new motor/oil leak

Alright guys..i have 1200 miles on my motor. I started my car up after sitting for the winter today, and when i moved the car i noticed a "spot" of oil.
(spot was the size of like bouncing a wet tennis ball on the pavement)

anyway, i looked under the car and there was a drip hanging from the oil filter, and one on the cover between the motor and trans.

What do you think/???/ When i bought the motor, The oil filter adapter was not there, so i told the place and they gave me one that was all oily and not new looking.

Thing oil filter adapter could be leaking or loose????

And bubbles constantly come from the hose that runs to my overflow tank, even when the cars cold..is this normal?

Look above the oil filter to see if there is any oil. I just posted something about mine leaking oil. I suspect the valve cover gaskets. Clean the engine really well and see if you could spot the leak. As for the coolant bubbling, did you let the air pocket out after you put new coolant in?

when i put the new coolant in, i repeatedly filled the radiator until it stopped getting lower, covered it, then filled overflow to cold line once or twice until that stopped getting lower. Is this the correct way to get any air pockets out????
