quick vacuum question

If you have an engine with a mess of vacuum lines will it still work fine in another vehicle (like one totally stripped)... if you get a different carb and intake???

If you want to run the messy vacuum lined engine in another cars body, all you have to do is plug up all the vacuum lines that are no longer needed. All the vacuum lines that are for the EGR can be removed if its going in a car that doesnt need it. Just be careful and don't remove any necessay lines.

-k-.. thing about that is that I got this engine out of an 85 Cabellaro and there is not an intake or carb on it. There are also no vacuum lines because when it spun a bearing (reason I got it for free), a goodwrench engine was put in using the original intake/carb. The engine that is now in there has a number of vacuum lines, the engine that came out that I have does not... if I just put like an edlebrock intake and carb on it, everything is going to be alright? (after the rebuild)? Thanks
