second gen question. please advise

Here is the scoop. I have another gauge unit with the 160mph speedo but no tach (just oil lights and stupid crap). I just bought this one with the tach but it only has 100mph speedo. Is there any way i can take the 160mph speedo out of the one gauge and put it in the one with the tach? Or am i just screwed!

I bought a 160mph speedometer for my '79 T/A...while I haven't put it in yet, I had always heard that the 160mph unit will drop in place of the 100mph one with no other changes needed. Isn't going to hurt anything to try it now that you already have the parts.

Yep, it will bolt right in. I have the tach in your pic, which bolts into the housing. The speedo just bolts right in too.
